Is there a way to drill holes using my engraving machine?

Drilling holes on your engraving machine is quite simple. Antares offers a parallel cutter with a drill point configuration on all of our standard tool blanks.
This configuration has a shallow point that allows the tool to center when it contacts the material. It is necessary to use a backing plate under the material being drilled since the point of the tool has to clear the bottom of the material. The tip size (hole diameter) can range from .060" up to the full width of the tool shank.
We also offer Replaceable Tip RouterMills® with a drill point.
